Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort:


Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort is a small winter ski resort. This ski resort is suitable from beginner to advance level of ski and snowboard. There is a ski lift that bring you to the 
the of the steep slopes where you can ski or ride down. If you have no experience in skiing or snowboarding, there is a school to teach you how to do so for a fee. The downside of the school is that the language conducted is in Japanese.

Nighttime: 5.00pm - 9.00pm

Directions:
In order to go to Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort, you need to take a train to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station on the Agatsuma Line. There is a bus service from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal about 25 minutes ride. From Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort is about 21 Minutes walk away.

Shirohatanoyu:


Shirohatanoyu is a small public bath house. It is gender separated and the water is very hot as it comes directly from the spring.

In order to go to Shirohatanoyu, you need to take a train to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station on the Agatsuma Line. There is a bus service from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal about 25 minutes ride. From Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to Shirohatanoyu is about 3 Minutes walk away. Shirohatanoyu is located right next to Yubatake.

Yubatake:


Yubatake is a famous spot in Kusatsu and one of the main sources of hot spring water. There is a pleasant sulfur odor around Yubatake, the hot spring water is cooled down by the Yubatake's wooden conduits before it gets distributed to the various ryokan and public bath houses.

Yubatake is open 24 hours

In order to go to Yubatake, you need to take a train to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station on the Agatsuma Line. There is a bus service from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal about 25 minutes ride. From Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to Yubatake is about 3 Minutes walk away. Yubatake is located right next to Shirohatanoyu.
